Also of note, Akrasia has accepted a Sackholder position with Vanguard, and his efforts there have been an invaluable asset to the Leadership team. Congrats x2, Aky!

I keep neglecting to post updates, and now we've got a bunch to roll together into one! This is a lot of the stuff that has happened since the last update, although I'm sure I will have missed something...
Yuska has joined AnimeMadness, and I can't think of a better fit to our family. His personality seems right in line with ours (which means if you don't like us, steer clear of this guy... but then, if you don't like us, why are you reading this?), so a big /welcome to Yuska!
Toonces has gained Sky access, killed Diabolos (CoP missions), and last night he took down Maat, clearing his way to BLM75. Keep it up, you're doing great!
On the AFv2 front, Mashiyuu is now 5/5 Ranger (Scout's set), Leilani is now 5/5 Warrior (Warrior's set), Stormshadow is now 4/5 Samurai (Saotome set), and Rhionne is 3/5 Black Mage (Sorcerer's set).
Realizing we've got a ludicrous amount of people who want a Joyeuse, we've started making Charybdis our new plaything. Two joytoys down, ten to go! Congrats to Mashiyuu and Leilani for the first of many many many Joyeuse drops.
After a brutally long Charybdis camp (15 hours, no kidding), we decided to head to Sky and try Byakko for the first time. With 15 people, and it being our first attempt, we knew of three possible outcomes: 1). we lose 2). we win, and get a light crystal 3). we win and Byakko coughs up Jander's pants. Now, some people would have put thier money on #1... shame on you people! We chose Option #3, and mad props to everyone who made that fight a success! I couldn't be more proud of AMLS right now, everyone did great!

During yesterday's Dynamis-Xarcabard run with Vanguard, Saltatrix received the Cleric's Mitts, which completes her WHM Relic set! Congrats!
We also have some new AMLS members with the Dynamis-Xarcabard Interloper title, because in that same run, Vanguard defeated the Dynamis Lord again (no deaths, ultra-clean execution). Congrats to Lazycricket, Pangtong, & Stormshadow.
Kudos to the fine members of Vanguard who have shown once again why Vanguard is the premier Dynamis Linkshell on Caitsith!

Congrats to Gasutoman for getting 5/5 PLD (Valor) Relic! Of the only 2 drops from Dynamis-Xarcabard this past Saturday (2006/03/25) one was the Valor Surcoat. It looks super nice! It only took him 79 Dynamis runs O_O;;
Gasutoman is the first 5/5 PLD in Vanguard.

After a long Christmas break with busy "real life" schedules, Anime-Madness is picking back up with owning FFXI (read the past 3 news posts ;þ) and the past 2 days have continued the trend. Jander, Gasutoman, Rhionne, Thelittlesthobo, Saltatrix and Mashiyuu have completed all their Windurst missions (some were still on 8-1) to complete that story path and gain their Rank 10 and Windurstian Flag!
Not only that but for Jander, Rhionne, Gasutoman, Thelittlesthobo, and Mashiyuu, this marks the completion of all 3 cities! Rank 10 Bastok, Rank 10 Sand O'ria, Rank 10 Windurst. Congrats!
Contrats to Toonces for getting his AF1 boots, Genkai 2, and Bastok 5-1 Mission all yesterday and today! Keep at it, Taco! /cheer!
Congrats to Saltatrix for getting the funding from LS ENM runs to buy a Maneater. That one LS member done, a few more to go!

Last night, Vanguard Dynamis LS defeated the Dynamis Lord, becoming the first ever North American Linkshell on Caitsith to defeat the Dynamis Lord! Congratulations to Aex, Akrasia, Brokensword, Gasutoman, Jander, Leilani, Mashiyuu, Outtacontrol, Rhionne, Saltatrix, & Thelittlesthobo as well as the other members of Vanguard on this awesome accomplishment!
The other congrats goes to Gasutoman and his spiffy new Shadow Mantle that the Dynamis Lord dropped! Gasutoman may very well be the first NA on Caitsith to own this highly-coveted drop!

Last night Thelittlesthobo completed his AFv2 Monk set, becoming the 5th AnimeMadness member with a full set, and the 9th Vanguard member with a full set as well.
There was one other Monk (Subzero) who could have lotted on that AFv2 drop, but he wanted to see Thelittlesthobo complete his set so he passed of his own volition, an extremely generous act that not many people would duplicate.

Tonight Rhionne completed her Red Mage AFv2 (Duelist's), also known as Relic gear in Dynamis! Rhionne is a member of Vanguard, the premier NA Dynamis Linkshell on Caitsith.
Vanguard's Dynamis-Beaucedine run tonight also pulled in two Sorcerer's Coats (congrats to Aex on one of those), a Bard's Justaucorps, two Scout's Socks, one Warrior's Cuisses, and an Attestation of Decisiveness! All this *and* Vanguard got the defeated Angra Mainyu for those who needed the clear to enter Dynamis-Zarcabard.

Last night Anime-Madness made a massive Optical Hat run and it was a complete success! All 6 people that had an eye cluster got their hat!
