This is my all-time favorite piece of fan-art that I've done. Being a huge Akira Toriyama fan, I absolutely fell in love with the SNES RPG Chrono Trigger, and I just HAD to draw Chrono! A lot of highlights and shading bring this work to life. I really enjoyed doing the hair! Too bad "real" men can't get away with that style...

This is another Akira Toriayama - inspired piece, Gokuh from Dragon Ball Z. I blended a lot of colors into the skin to get a warm feel for his musculature. Parchment paper was used to give an aura of light emanating from Gokuh.

One of my favorite art studios other than Bird Studio is the Capcom Art Studio. Ken is my favorite character. Brains, brawn, and looks to die for... Ken Masters has it all! Here, he is taunting his next opponent. This piece was inspired by the Street Fighter Zero series of video games. Many shades were blended to get the colors 'just right,' especially in this karategi.

Here is another picture of Ken Masters from Street Fighter Zero. Ken is ready to unleash his hadouken (air motion wave fist) on his opponent. Shades of blue, purple, and white convey the energy of his ki, or metaphysical energy.

This is Sakura from the Street Fighter Zero video game series. Sakura is posing after a victory. This is one of my favorite sakura pieces to date. Rice paper was used to get a nice transparent background.

This is a sketch of Ranma-chan, the girl-type form of Ranma from Rumiko Takahashi's Ranma 1/2 series. this fan-art was done at the request of White_Leviathan. I had a lot of fun designing and coloring the sun dress of cherry blossoms.
